Laser Eye Surgery Northern Ireland
A question about joining U.S Air Force?
I am from Northern Ireland, My dream is to be a Pilot.
My initial pan was to join the british Royal Air Force, but I have imperfect vision and they don’t accept people with Laser Eye surgery for some reason, yet I heard the American Air Force does.
I don’t mind having to move to the US, I quite like the idea but does the U.S Air Force have any ETHNICITY laws.
E.g The RAF wants British people only, a foreignor must be in ownership of British citizenship or dual citizenship AND have lived in UK for a number of years.
What are the regulations of ethnicity in the US Air Force.

“What if I am not a U.S. citizen?
Only U.S. citizens or foreign nationals legally residing in the United States with an Immigration and Naturalization Service Alien Registration Card (“Green Card” — INS Form I-151/551) may apply. Applicants must speak, write and read English fluently”.
So yes you can move to the US in order to apply to the military
